I am a dorky graduate student and fat activist; I study gender, sexuality, and fat studies, and I teach Women's Studies. I am secretary of The Fat Rights Coalition, and thus have been recruited to write for BFB. Yay! I am also co-organizer of MAFRAD, which stands for Media Advocacy for Fat Representation and Anti-Defamation; sometime in the near future we will publish our first media guide.
I am formerly "sevendayswonder" on BFB, but I never used that moniker anywhere else on the fatosphere, so I decided I should shore things up.
