I've been working from home for the past four years. I have two toddlers (2 & 3 years old) and a husband. I've been fat since....oh....ever-ish. Being fat has never stopped me from having relationships, fun clothes, friends, sex, conversations, or clients.

Ironically, in the past year all of the clients for my company have been fashionistas. Thin as a rail and selling it to the masses. They all love me. They all have body image issues out the wazoo. So I'm constantly reminded that everyone is messed up about body image, no matter what the scale says or the tags on your clothes say.

I try (and have always tried) to eat healthy, and have serious issues with food and preservatives and salt and sugar and meat and blah blah blah. But I've never associated my food issues with my weight. They're about as connected as my shoe size and my weight. (i.e. maybe a little, but not a whole helluva lot.)
